Our Story
Cheque Express began as an opportunity to drive more traffic into two family-owned convenient stores. After a successful run of this new operation Sameer Lalani, founder and chairman, began to expand the check cashing services to other venues like supermarkets and laudry mats. He focused on a store within a store concept which provided a needed service in a location that had foot traffic.
Mr. Lalani realized he had something and after operating 10 stores across a 10-year period he began to focus exclusively on check cashing and more than doubled the number of locations in just 4 years.
